As a 30 year veteran at Oracle as an IT Procurement Analyst, Customer Service Specialist and Desktop Support Analyst, I have learned a lot on the technical side as well as the human side.

Customer service is at the heart of my skill set and I treat each person I come in contact with uniquely, based on their needs. I have a great ability to adjust my "support style" to any person I am assisting, regardless of their hierarchy, personality or culture, focusing on the best way to assist them to find solutions for what ever challenges they may be facing, while consistantly staying friendly, empathetic and professional at all times.

Another key aspect of my expertise is my ability to truly understand the needs of my customer, identify operational requirements and provide the technical and logistics expertise to develop, support solutions for their successes.

As a Procurement Specialist, I led Procurement efforts for the global Oracle business operations throughout multiple regions including North America, the UK, and APAC, championing and sourcing procurement efforts servicing 30,000 personnel, using the Oracle Procurement Cloud (OPC) Tool.

This included everything from submitting large Purchase requisitions of bulk computer "standard" and "non-standard" hardware orders for future individual fulfillment requests, as well as assisting individual users to navigate the OPC application, to submit , track and receive goods placed by creating their own purchase requisitions.

Throughout the years I have cultivated strong alliances with vendors, customers, technology teams, operational managers, and executives, communicating with diverse teams to meet the needs of business groups all while driving high levels of customer service and success throughout all IT sourcing and procurement efforts.

Additionally, I managed the evaluation and approval of new standard and non-standard desktop, laptop and accessory sourcing and procurement efforts, handling over 6,000 requests for new computer hardware and annually, as well as numerous special projects.

As a 10-year member of a large Desktop Support Team, I managed large numbers of technical support requests, troubleshooting hardware or software problems, fulfilling hardware requests for current and newly hired employees and finding solutions for any problems the end user may be experiencing.

I have always been an extremely dependable, loyal and hard worker, being able to quickly adapt to many changing environment(s), always willing to work with customers to gain a better understanding of the tools I support for them, and finding the solutions they needed to ensure their sucess.

I believe my previous experiences and these combined successes have prepared me to continue on with any number of Support or Procurement roles.

I am seeking a long-term position (not a “stepping stone” position), so please consider my previous experience and pay as something from my past and instead consider me as someone looking for a new exciting start in a position he truly enjoys and is good at.

When not working, I enjoy tackling various home projects, spending time indoors and outdoors with my fantastic family, jogging, baking and playing the guitar.

Truly, I'm a (professional) catch!
